Jeri was the winner from my previous blog contest for the $100 gift card give away. We finally went out to spend her winnings on some new staple items for her closet and found her some great figure friendly pieces! Jeri wanted some clothes that worked both as casual wear at work, as well as pieces that can transition to everyday wear, and also wanted to find some trousers that were modern and stylish. We picked basic neutral items so that they would be versatile – adding pops of color with jewelry, scarves, shoes, etc. can change up these outfits into multiple looks. I put together our adventure into a short movie, so sit back, relax, and enjoy!
PS – Sickness tainted some of my energy, so I may sound a bit monotone, apologies! Also, sometimes I tend to forget to explain why I chose certain pieces, so if you have any questions that I didn’t answer in the video, definitely ask me in the comments!
Check out the transformation well fitted clothes for your body-shape make!:
And here’s a picture of the things we purchased:

I don’t have sound at work, but it looks like the video turned out well! lol
Thanks again for bringing me shopping! I had a lot of fun. Hope you don’t mind, but here’s my mini “review” of our trip for others to read:
For anyone who has not had the experience of having a personal shopper, it’s definitely worth it! Maria did a thorough “interview” beforehand of what I was looking for, what style clothing I like to wear. We also went over my body type and “trouble” areas I try to hide. When we got to the stores, I was so relieved that Maria didn’t put me in things that were totally not my style or uncomfortable. She was very conscious of my style and what was important to me in clothing. At the end of our trip, I ended up getting some great pieces that work for both my work environment as well as just everyday “on-the-go” wear. The clothes were comfortable and functional for my lifestyle (not to mention they made my body look great-LOL!). I am a mom and I don’t always have time to dress up my wardrobe or make sure I look fashionable when I walk out the door, but with the pieces we chose it will be effortless. I was very pleased with my trip and hope that Maria comes shopping with me again!

I really LOVE that white/black tunic with the leggings. Do you remember how much it was?

I believe the tunic was in the $20-$30 range, and the leggings were around $14

Wow, great transformation! That white tunic with the wide belt looked amazing on her and really showed off her shape in a good way. I have been thinking about trying a vest, but haven’t because I am a “large chested individual” haha. This video encouraged me a little!
