Ahh, sunshine, how I love thee. Today was such a comfortably warm day that I would actually resort to using the word delicious to describe it. I pulled on my thrifted striped blouse and pleated shorts and felt wonderful – you know, that feeling when your clothes just feel like a second skin, airy and light?

Although fall and winter are the more interesting seasons for fashion, I absolutely love warm weather wear. There’s something so natural and underdone about it that really appeals to me. I guess it’s because I generally like simplicity in my looks, and feel like I can get away with it more in the summer

I LOVE when clothes fit like that. I’m trying to do casual and simple with big jewelry if I can – I have my eye on lots of statement necklace pieces. It goes especially well with being pregnant – a few staples that fit, basic dresses, and bold accessories that I will actually be able to wear post-delivery as well. Summer is DEFINITELY my favorite season. I would prefer 70-something spring days, honestly, but here spring is on and off sunny and rainy so I like summer because the weather is dry and PREDICTABLE.
