Last week I made a post encouraging everyone to thrift on occasion for both eco and affordable living purposes. Well, this weekend I decided to follow some of my own advice and I went thrifting around the Walnut Creek area. I had no idea how many cool thrift, vintage, and consignment stores one could find walking down the alleys of WC. In honor of my escapades, I will be posting outfits built around some really lovely pieces I found as inspiration for you to go out and explore your own local thrift markets. Enjoy!

I found this amazing Michael Hoban leather skirt at Main Street Rags in WC for $20. I paired it with American Apparel’s double U neck shirt, a pair of nude colored heels, and a felt cloche hat from Target.
