Keeping in the same vein as yesterday’s post, I’ve also decided Saturdays will be devoted to Hollywood’s It men and women when it comes to their fashion status. I will feature a particular outfit each Saturday that I’m lovin’, and how to recreate the look for yourself. While we may not all appreciate their acting skills, I’m sure you’ll agree with me that these featured stars have got their style down to perfection.
Today I want to take a look at one of my absolute favorite starlets, Gwyneth Paltrow. I think she first captured my fashionista heart when she played Margot Tenenbaum in the Royal Tenenbaums. Her crazy black eye-liner, raggedy leopard coat, and striped polo dress would strike you as an odd outfit to drool over, but there was something in her character that drew me in to the “dementia chic” look. Some years later, she has continued to evolve both on and off screen into a very stylish girl.
Here she is wearing a Valentino dress and Christian Louboutin shoes. I love the structured shoulders in this piece, and the upscale gladiator inspired heels. Very clean, modern lines are a great look on most women.
