I have to say, 2009 has been an amazing year of growth and transformation for me. I graduated from UC Berkeley in June, moved into my new home in July, I got married in September, and began my blog in October. This year had its ups and downs: some friendships were lost and some flourished, some dreams were given over to other plans, but I couldn’t be any happier than where I am at now. My hopes for next year would be growing my blog, opening up my retail store (packed with cool, trendy, green clothes for girls AND guys), getting over my fears of flying and forcing myself to travel more, perhaps go on my first missions trip, and be able to make plenty of money in order to bless others.
Tonight I am excited to host a small party with some of my closest friends. I hope to play a murder/mystery (I do declare…), eat lots of great food, and toast the new year with a Lava Flow (thank you Maui…)! I’ll be wearing my new gold flats, black textured leggings, a long white tunic, and a sequin encrusted vest. Keeping it low key, but that’s my type of celebration.
So my question for you is what are your goals for 2010? What are your resolutions? How are you bringing in the new year tonight?
I want to leave you all with this music video by Metric for their song, Sick Muse. It’s very New Years Eve-ish to me, and I adore her outfit. Happy New Year!
