Ah yes, the little video I made of my transformation back to being a brunette! A classic if I say so myself, lol. Enjoy!

For the past 6 months or so I have had this crazy desire to color my hair brown. While naturally a brunette, I have been blonde for the past 5 years and was ready for something new. So this week I made an appointment with one of my close friends, Andrea, who works at Salon Amour. Salon Amour is an Aveda salon located in Walnut Creek. I chose Aveda because of their mission to help impoverished countries, their earth friendly practices, and their nearly 100% natural products. I documented my hair transformation on video, including the not so pretty parts, so that you could witness the process and gain some insight on Aveda’s actions towards helping the world, one head at a time. I hope you enjoy!
*In the video I said all their cups are recyclable. This is true, but on top of that they are also made out of corn, not oil. *

I’m so happy I colored my hair. It’s been one huge way to maintain my budget, have healthier hair, and revamp my look. I’ve almost forgotten what I look like as a blonde!

My mum’s a head stylist at an Aveda Salon over here in the UK. Their colours are fabulous and one of the best products I’ve ever had used on my hair (and I’ve been a hair model since I was 13, so I’ve had A LOT of colour put on my hair!)
