I made a post a few weeks ago about the hot paperbag waist trend. I thought I’d try the look out myself, and this is what I came up with:
United Colors of Benetton sweater, H&M skirt, Steve Madden pumps, Sock Dreams fishnets
I also promised my friend Emmy that I would figure out how to wear fishnets and look classy. Her wonderfully conservative Bulgarian mother told her all the boys at work say girls in fishnets are loose (haha!), and Emmy wanted to prove her wrong. I think as long as you wear it with a slightly longer dress or skirt that hits just above the knee, then they maintain that retro, ladylike aesthetic. Plus, I love this nude colored pair for a more Parisian, whimsical feel versus the traditional black version.
I also wore my favorite amber rock necklace from Urban Outfitters to give it some glam.
Just a simple outfit to wear when you want to channel your ultra-feminine side. Enjoy!

You totally rock the fishnets in a non-slutty way. Very classy and as you said Parisian. Now I am on the lookout for non-traditional colored fishnets. I quite like the nude ones you have.
