So I’ve been totally inspired by many of my fellow fashion bloggers and the various challenges they are tackling. I’m impressed by the way many of you are pushing yourselves to try new things with your look, both economically and practically. Definitely a big kudos from me!
In response to all of this, I thought about an area that I could use a little challenge on. If you’ve been reading Bachman’s Sparrow for awhile, you will remember that one of my New Years’ goals was to push myself in the makeup department. You all remember my three minute makeup video? That’s been my look for the past few months or so, lol! Time to step it up. So, for the next month (excluding weekends), I’ve decided that I will force myself to do something different with my facial paint everyday. I’m really hoping that this works out.
So, if you’d like to follow along, I’ll be posting a picture a day on my Facebook Fanpage; I’ll be putting up my first picture there today! If any of you have some great inspirational beauty photo links you’d like to share in the comments for me to attempt this month, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Good for you! My big challenge has been organizing my room in my new apt…taking time and energy! lol Yours sounds more fun!

great fun challenge! I’m challenging myself to not buy any new clothes for two months, and only two weeks in I’m going strong! These kinds of “challenges” can be frustrating at times, but it does push you!

I really like this! I struggle with boring makeup myself, but a lot of that is because of the heat now, and in general I am wary of overpowering my looks (clothing) with too much makeup.
That said, I do love a simple smoky or cat eye. I REALLY wanna see some eye drama on you!

I feel ya – I also tend to not go out much during the week, so my makeup tends to be pretty neutral. I’ll pump up the eye drama, I promise!

great challenge maria! mine is trying to figure out what clothes to wear while pregnant and still look fashionable, lol. i do need to work in the makeup dept. also, as i’m pretty lazy at it

I used to like to look at magazines for make-up inspiration, plus they show what make-up trends are fashionable right now. You’ve been doing great, I love what I’ve seen so far!
