So a week or so ago I was propositioned to do a post on different easy hairstyles to wear during the winter holidays. For some odd reason some of my girlfriends think I know how to do hair:)P After much debating over what styles to choose, a few days spent perfecting my technique (ha!), and hours trying to figure out how to use Window’s Movie Maker, the following three videos were “birthed.” I am by no means a hair stylist, so these different looks should be easy to replicate. I hope you enjoy! (Pardon any word stumbling and “imperfect” hair, I tried to make these as quick and simple as possible!)
Products I used:
- Jonathan Hairspray – I love this hairspray because it contains no alcohol, is vegan, and is non-aerosol.
- Sebastian Megahold Hairspray – unfortunately an aerosol, but it holds great and smells pretty good.
- A regular rattail comb
- Bobby pins – 1.5″ and 2.5″

Here are some better pictures of the Marcel curl. Remember, the more dramatically you pin the curl into place, the more dramatic it will be when you unclip it. Enjoy!

Thanks Kristin! They are a little messier than normal (it’s not easy trying to record yourself doing hair!) but they usually get a lot of compliments. Let me know how they turn out!
