Friday Favorite: I’m turning 23!

I’m not so sure if I want to put an exclamation on the end of the sentence; apparently scientists say our peak mental age is 22, so it’s all downhill from here ;) . But it’s true ladies and gentlemen, today is indeed my birthday! Tonight I will be spending it with my family, eating glazed ham, my mom’s famous noodle salad and deviled eggs, and the same mint chocolate chip ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins that I’ve been getting since I was a kid.

On Saturday I will be driving down to Anaheim, and going to Disneyland for two days and Medieval Times one night, with some of my close friends! As a kid, my parents would take me and my sister every year to Disneyland; it seriously was my happiest place on earth! The last couple of years I’ve gone to Disneyworld (my sister lives in Florida now, so we’d go when I’d visit her), so it’s been awhile since I’ve gone to Anaheim. I feel like such a child right now, I can’t wait!
