I absolutely love ice cream. Rocky Road, Mocha Almond Fudge, Mint Chocolate Chip, you name it I devour it. But when it comes to frozen yogurt, I’ve had my ups and downs. The frozen yogurt I remember from my youth was too liquidy, not flavorful, and only came in chocolate or vanilla. Last year my taste buds were introduced to the amazingness that is frozen yogurt bars, packed with so many delicious flavors and toppings that I was literally overwhelmed. Yogurtland, a local stop, has become one of my favorite places to go with my friends and try out new concoctions (find one near you). That’s why this week I’ve made it my Friday Fave, and I am going to show you my and my two friends’ current favorite blends!
While I normally get the Taro soft-serve (which I HIGHLY recommend), I decided to get their pistachio flavor today. It has an amazing richness and sweetness that you wouldn’t expect; paired with arctic vanilla, lychee fruit, mochi, (wow Asian much?!) and a few walnuts, you have delicious blend of salty and sweet. Andrea also picked the pistachio, but blended it with cookies and cream, M&Ms, Heath bar bits, peanut butter cups, chocolate chips, and rainbow sprinkles to make a brightly colored and chocolate-y masterpiece. Emmy used the plain tart and jazzed it up with mango, almonds, cheesecake bites, Heath bar bits, marshmallows, Reese’s peanut butter cups, and a dollop of the lychee tart frozen yogurt. Whether basic or complex, frozen yogurt is my go-to sweet snack this summer!
Are you a fan of frozen yogurt? Do you have a local yogurt bar in your town? What is your favorite blend? Let me know!

I love frozen yogurt! I don’t think there is a Yogurtland near me, but there is a Pinkberry.

I love frozen yogurt! Wish there were froyo places closer to my apartment. Lychee sounds amazing. I love froyo with fruit.

Ok, so I have this thing where I don’t like my food too wet/soggy, so usually I’m not a fan of fruit (esp. canned that comes with the syrup in it) as a topping, but the lychee is soooo good.
