Now before you say, “death metal? I’m out.” let me explain. This band is actually kind of amazing. They’ve been around for awhile (since 1998), but I only recently discovered them thanks to my friend Ben (you might recognize some of their songs from commercials and the movie Thank You for Smoking – great movie). Rather than a death metal band, these guys are more alternative/psychedelic/bluegrass than anything. One of my fellow twitter-ers commented that they remind her of summer – a perfect description. Eagles of DM is perfect for road trips, beach bashes, and spinning around your room. Below are some of my favorite songs of their’s, check it out:

Hey Chica! If you’re looking for more really fashionable bands, I can think of several. Mute math, mewithoutyou, the deadlines… and the great part is, all these guys are christian!
