spin, spin, spin
Right as I am about to accept the cooling weather, California finally decides to play summer and spike up to 107 degrees today. Ugh! To combat this ridiculous change of tune, I’ve bust out one of my favorite strapless dresses that hasn’t seen daylight in quite some time. I first wore this little number at my bridal shower, a little over a year ago. It’s a bit more revealing and formal for everyday wear, so I dressed it down with a denim jacket and my beloved nude heels.

? What’s great about this dress is that because it’s on the shorter side, it can easily transition into winter wear by pairing it with tights, boots, and a cable sweater…I love multi-functionality!
Okay weather, I’m ready for you to get with the season now. I can’t stand you teasing me like this!

I love those pictures where you’re playfully slinging the jacket around. The dress looks great styled casually! I bet that hem would work well with a longer skirt paired underneath, too, for cooler weather
The weather here on the East Coast hasn’t seemed to change, but as I just spent a weekend at the beach and now am mostly indoors, I’m probably not the best judge
Right now I’m wearing one of my best fall dresses, actually, a rather fancy Anna Sui embroidered number (acquired 2ndhand!), with bare legs. I was eyeing Sock Dreams for their tights selection earlier though, and fall will be here before we know it!
