So the first time-saving hair-do video I put together is all about a messy, low knot half up-do with waves. I love being able to wake up with my hair already set, so for this look you will start off with the classic “braid before bed” technique. Section your hair off into four pieces: two on top and two on bottom. Do basic, tight braids on slightly damp hair (starting about 3 inches down from the base of your hair) and sleep on it. My video takes it from here:
*I used Aveda’s brilliant medium hold hairspray*
I love the messiness of this look – natural looking hair is the sexiest in my opinion. I paired the hair with my kimono inspired top and a tank, jeans, and sandals.

Thrifted kimono top, H&M basic white tank, Billabong jeans, de Blossom sandals, Anthropologie necklace
You can get away with such a basic outfit as long as you have that one interest piece to spice it up. Easy peasy!
What’s you favorite “interest” piece you currently own? What is your go-to summer hair? Let me know!

I like the hair, but what i love even more is the kimono top! I can’t believe that’s thrifted. I thought it was from anthropologie or something like that. Good find!
