I’ve been dying to have Nichole guest post on my blog for awhile now. She’s received her esthetician license from Paul Mitchell, and has an extensive background in natural and organic products (including working for Elephant Pharmacy in Walnut Creek). I asked her to choose her top five beauty products for today’s Friday Fave, and here is what she came up with:

1. Glo Minerals Pressed Base Foundation

I know there tons and tons of mineral make up foundations out there and I have tried them all; you name it I’ve tried it! I have to share that Glo is the best in my opinion. Not only is the coverage amazing but it also has sun protection along with antioxidants and vitamins A, C, & E. This make up is good for your skin, it won’t clog or irritate it, and that is why its my pick for best foundation. (purchase here)

Application tips: For powder foundation apply from the inside out in circular motions for an even application.

2. Juice Beauty Exfoliating Cleanser

This is a great 2 in 1 product. As you cleanse your face you are also getting a mild exfoliation at the same time. This cleanser has a blend of certified organic and antioxidant rich ingredients such as pineapple and jojoba for exfoliation as well as calendula and chamomilla for replenishing your skin. We all want brighter smoother skin and this product will leave your skin feeling refreshed and more refined! (purchase here)

3. Glo Minerals Bronzer in Sunkiss

I simply love bronzer it is one product I can’t live without! Bronzers if applied poorly will make the skin appear dirty or even dull and no one wants that, we want to look “sun kissed”. This bronzer has two colors to it, one being more of a brown contour color and the other a golden shimmer for radiance and glow. The product also contains vitamins A, C, E as well as green tea extract. When applied on upper region of forehead, side of cheek and lightly at jaw line you’ll achieve that natural looking contour and a healthy glow! (purchase here)

Application tips: For bronzer, apply from the temples inwards towards the apple's of the cheeks. You can also apply on the forhead and nose for an all over even glow.

4. Burt’s Bees Medicated Lip Balm

Its so important for me to keep my lips hydrated; who wants flakey chapped lips? There are hundreds if not thousands of lip balms out there – its almost overwhelming to pick one. Don’t let the price fool you, just because a lip balm or lip “treatment“ is only a few dollars doesn‘t mean its not effective. I fell in love with this 100% all natural lip balm, it contains some great ingredients such as grape, coconut, eucalyptus, clove and lemon oil which all aid in moisture for the skin and for just a few dollars it’s a great steal! (purchase here)

5. Organic Virgin Coconut Body Scrub by “100% Pure” Products

One word for this product is INDULGENT. I love body scrubs but this one does more than just provide an excellent exfoliation – it also moisturizes your body because of the coconut oil. This product contains skin nourishing ingredients such as rose hip, grape seed oil, and extracts from organic pomegranate, raspberry and blackberry that will leave your skin feeling fresh and silky! Just in case you don’t love coconut there are 29 other body scrub scents from 100% Pure. (purchase here)
