Lately I’ve been dipping a wrist or two into the perfume pool. I’m generally not a huge fan of other people’s perfume, but this last Christmas I thought I would invest in a bottle of my own. I had heard good things about Juicy Couture’s Viva la Juicy, so I tried that first. It was nice, but I felt like I had smelled that perfume on other people too often – what I wanted my own signature scent. As I was browsing along, I noticed JC’s Couture Couture bottle:
Beautiful, right? I know you’re not suppose to judge a book by its cover, but this bottle was so darn ritzy it just drew me in. I tried out the scent and fell in love. It has this warm, flowery + vanilla scent, that sounds over powering but really isn’t. It makes me feel ultra feminine, but not in a sweet and sappy way. Be careful though, just spray the air with two pumps and walk through the mist. Applying directly and multiple times to the skin will make eyes tear and windows roll down. You can get a .25 oz spray bottle for $16 at Sephora, which should last you for quite a while. Enjoy!
What is your go-to perfume? Are you more floral, fruity, etc.?
~Maria
PS – Fellas, there’s a men’s Juicy fragrance as well:
It’s called Dirty English, which according to Juicy, is what all the bad boys wear

I either wear “Juicy Couture” by Juicy Couture or Harajuku Lover’s “G” which I got for Christmas from my fiance AND my mom! I also have a few fruity avon perfumes I like to use during the summer.
I only just recently started wearing perfume so I’m still trying to figure out what I like. But subtle scents are my favorite.
