Emma Watson has entered into womanhood quite gracefully. I am blown away by how a (let’s just be honest) fairly plain girl has turned into not only a style icon, but a lovely lady. As her days with Harry Potter are coming to an end (sad!), her goals of pursuing higher education, new roles, and fashion lines with companies like People Tree are admirable. Yet another child actress who seems to have it together!
What I love about her fashion aesthetic is how she makes “proper English” look trendy and modern. One of my favorite magazine shoots of her’s is from InStyle, in particular this stripe-y dress look:
Today’s dress for less is all about achieving this fun and flirty dress look without breaking the bank! Here’s how:
You can purchase these dresses here and here.

Joann Fabrics black satin ribbon $4 - I've been liking the look of ribbon belts lately; it adds a certain elegance to a look
Pick up this ribbon here.
These colorful pumps can be purchased here.
Purchase this lovely brooch here.
This bracelet can be purchased here.
All together you can get this look for under $100 ($135 with the UO dress)! Enjoy!
Are you a fan of Emma Watson? Is this a look you would wear? What other “grown-up” child star are you loving? Why do you think so many of them fall to the wayside? Let me know!

Thank you dear! Ugh, I’m loving brooches right now, they are so multi-functional and really add some pizazz

I love Emma Watson! She has definitely blossomed into a very pretty person. I just saw an ad with her in it, I think it was for Burberry? I couldn’t believe it was her! She’s very stylish.

I really think it must be the hair, and maybe her eyebrows? Just goes to show what some simple beautifying can do!
