As cell phones and iPods proliferated, the use of watches declined. A simple click of a button allowed you to check the hour not only in your timezone, but at every point across the world. Watches soon became, well, excessive – just another frivolous thing to remember to put on in the morning. How lamentable. Today I want to share with you some beautiful timepieces, and take a stand to reignite a classic accessory just in time for fall.

I’ve become accustomed to not wearing a watch because I’m not gone usually long enough to need one (haha). But I love watches because of what they stand for (telling me what time it is) and I can see myself wearing just about every one of these. Watches are such a classic accessory and kudos to you for showcasing them on your blog.

I love watches, just don’t wear one because I haven’t found one that I like and can afford @ the same time, and I can’t find the one with the hearts on the Michael Kors link

If you hover over the image it tells you what brand and where you can buy it! I believe that’s a Moschino!

I love watches! I wear my black leather-strap one most weekdays. I have two other metal band ones (one chunky, one more delicate) that have dead batteries…I love the chunky one. I think it’s a lot easier to subtlely look at your watch during a meeting than at a cell phone.

I haven’t had a watch since I was a kid. But this summer I finally bought one. It has big, black wrist band (looks like leather but it’s not) and a huge clock face. I got it from the guy’s section at Target and I love it. Plus it looks more expensive then it really was, haha
