Do you ever wake up frustrated with your wardrobe? Do you ever feel that slight panic of not knowing what to wear for a special occasion? Or maybe you feel totally overwhelmed with what actually looks good on your body? Don’t feel ashamed because we have ALL been there; everyone can use help now and then! So, today post a comment with a fashion question that you may have, whether it be how to wear a certain trend to what colors would look amazing on you. Later this week I will compile these questions and answer them in a following post. Feel free to post links to pictures of you, clothing items, etc. that you want help with!

In the meantime, here is some fashination for your week:

For the Ladies: Zac Posen

What I love about Zac Posen’s Fall 2009 Ready to Wear is it’s unabashed use of color and it’s homage to 1940s/Victorian styled cuts. It’s incredibly traditional in a modern way, something I think that when pulled off well bumps up your wardrobe’s sophistication and taste.

For the fellas: Michael Bastian

What is great about Michael for guys is how all-American his design aesthetic is. Nothing here is too far beyond what the average guy could pull off. Observe the staple pieces in his collection, and build your wardrobe to your comfort level around it. Also check out how he pairs higher end pieces (e.g. a cashmere turtleneck) with a lower end piece (e.g. a plaid button-down). Enjoy!
