If you don’t know already, I absolutely adore Rachel Zoe. However, the other day my eyes were opened to Catherine Baba, a relocated Australian in France who works as a freelance stylist and consultant for a number of fashion houses and designers. To put it simply, she encompasses everything about fashion that I adore. Her look is memorizing, intimidating, unique, etc. I have found a muse for my own journey to becoming more fashionable, and today I want to share her with you all in this week’s dress for less. The outfit we will be attempting to emulate is this lovely blue number:
The look, for less:
From left to right: Charlotte Russe Pleat Ruffle Shirt Dress $26.99; New York and Co. Eastside Dress$29.95; Express Cap Sleeve Shirt Dress from eBay $37.99

Baba Accessories - it's all about the bohemian-chic feel: chunky cuffs, turbans galore, and glamorous shades and heels
Clockwise from top left: Forever21 linked crepe headband $3.80; Black satin turban from eBay $3.50; UO destination charm necklace $24.00; Large red tassel (hook it on you necklace chain to add a little worldly flare) $5.95; Kelly and Katie T-Strap sandal $49.95; Forever21 metallic bangle set $8.80; Forever21 expandable lacquered bracelet $6.80; Forever21 interwoven beaded cuff $6.80; UO Contrast lady frame $10.oo (I am loving UO’s cheap sunglasses – they look and feel great!).
All together you can get this look for under $150! I imagine that’s what she spent on her hair accessory alone.
What do you think about this look? Would you ever brave a turban? Do you adore Catherine? Let me know!

Enjoy!

I love her too! Spotting her for the first time in some fashion week street style blog or other was a revelation. I love how you can’t quite tell her age, she could be 16 with a lot of self-confidence, or 60 with great legs and a lotta va-va-voom!

I just love how she doesn’t look like she tries too hard too – it just seems natural for her to look that great.

She’s outrageous, in a good way. I’m totally mesmerized. Time to Google her incessantly.
