For the past 6 months or so I have had this crazy desire to color my hair brown. While naturally a brunette, I have been blonde for the past 5 years and was ready for something new. So this week I made an appointment with one of my close friends, Andrea, who works at Salon Amour. Salon Amour is an Aveda salon located in Walnut Creek. I chose Aveda because of their mission to help impoverished countries, their earth friendly practices, and their nearly 100% natural products. I documented my hair transformation on video, including the not so pretty parts, so that you could witness the process and gain some insight on Aveda’s actions towards helping the world, one head at a time. I love the new color! I haven’t re-dyed my hair in a while so I have auburn tips. I’ve been meaning to dye it back to my regular color ~ thanks for the inspiration.

Kristin, it was scary at first but I am so glad I did it. Change is what keeps things exciting! My husband said he got a new wife hahaha.
